About Me

I am so excited that you have chosen to explore this blog. As a man of faith I constantly find myself exploring the challenges, opportunities, issues, and amazing hope that is the Christian faith. This blog is an extension of my prayerful and faithful love of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, as well as my understanding of how the Christian faith engages life, our culture, and the precious planet we call home.

Personally, I am married to one whom I believe is the World’s Most Beautiful Woman and our family consists of five beautiful children, our granddaughter, and grandson. As an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) serve as Pastor of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Carlsbad, New Mexico and teach at New Mexico State University’s Carlsbad Branch Campus.

Yet, this blog is not about me. It’s about faith—faith in God and God’s love for humanity. A faith primarily expressed through Christianity, but it is far more than just another Christian blog. As faith is dynamic, active, and manifests in many beautiful expressions, this blog explores faith from the perspective of simply living to our highest potential as a global community created in God’s image, called good, and empowered to rise to amazing heights of love, grace, peace, and thankfulness.

Thank you for joining me on this journey!
